That's a pretty good price. I own the Calphalon Contempary Set and that set me back $250 on sale. Good quality.

Just bought the $19 8.5 quart saucier a few days ago. Thank you for the heads up on that one! Now I'm waiting patiently for another Le Crueset shopping alert.... :-)

any comments, anyone, about the reviews on Amazon that say that the quality of the Calphalon made in Asia is not as good, and cooks inconsistenly? I'd jump on this, but not to throw $125 at pans that are no better than the ones I currently own (an amalgam of cast iron, creuset poseurs, some ikea crap and a few pieces of farberware left over from 12/yr old wedding gifts.)
I cook at clients' homes so I've cooked with everything, the best and the worst, and good Calphalon is quite good.

Hi JoAnna - I love the saucier I bought several months ago - very good quality. I'm assuming that this set will be similar. That said, many people have bought this set based on finding out about it on this site. Any feedback from our readers who bought this set?

I ordered a Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 12" skillet for $25 and a 3.5 quart sauté pan for $30 from Amazon on Dec. 7 and they got to me in NYC on Saturday Dec. 10 and no shipping charges. These pans are beautiful and are easily worth twice the price. Thanks for the heads up.

Update: I received this set the very next day after ordering them! Got it for $125 with free shipping, so getting them overnight was quite a surprise. I have had a chance now to use most of the pieces in this set and I could not be happier. Thanks again.

Hi Necro - yep, the prices do change quite often at Amazon. I update the prices shown here on the site when I can, but sometimes they'll change several times within a day! Hopefully this deal with come around again.
